Barbara is the mom behind the blog. She is wife to an amazing guy, mom to a fun loving boy, and stepmom to his awesome big bro. When she is not at work or tending to her family, she can be found at the field cheering her favorite players on, and spitting sunflower seeds with the best of ’em. Besides driving all over town for games, she juggles managing the household, feeding the family (and usually several teammates), trying to stay healthy, and the demands of a full time job. Like many of today’s Modern Sports Moms, she loves being creative, cooking, and fashion, and a when she has a few minutes to spare, a good book.
Random musings heard around the house:
“Get your cup off the coffee table!”
“Is your uniform clean? The navy one, I mean the white one, actually I mean the practice uniform. Well, is it clean or what?”
“You better hit someone!” (this would apply to football season only)
“You’re killing me Smalls” (uttered at least 10x per day, every day)
A baseball and football mom, she is fueled by her strong faith, dedication to her family, and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee! She lives in California with her husband, kids, dog, and cat.
