Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie – My kids love this breakfast recipe! It’s actually healthy and so tasty, both parents and kids alike will love it. Enjoy it at breakfast time, before sports, or as an after school snack. Packed with protein and really delicious, it’s the perfect way to kick off the morning.
It’s hard to believe that the summer is winding down and the kids will be heading back to school soon. Actually, many have already started! We must live in one of the only school districts in the country that hasn’t started back up after the summer break, there are still a couple of weeks left that will surely fly by. I still need to buy school supplies, clothes, you name it, I haven’t done it. Thanks to our summer sports there has been very little time to get my act together, but I better get on that, and soon. I haven’t slacked on everything though. While I sit at practice, I scroll through and pin my favorite easy and healthy meals that I plan on making once school starts. Cause you know, I’ll have more time then? Maybe. Truth is, when it comes to ‘back to school’, the quicker the better, amiright? That goes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks!

I’ve also been digging up old recipes and came across this Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie that I made quite a bit last year. It’s really quick, easy, and great for you! I’m sharing it with you because like me, you could probably use a little meal planning help. You’re welcome!
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup of vanilla almond milk
- 1 tbsp. of raw honey
- 1/4 tsp. of pure vanilla extract
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Blend until smooth. Enjoy!

To save more time during the morning rush, add all ingredients except the almond milk, into the blender jug and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, add the milk and blend it up! Serve it in a to-go cup and enjoy in the car on the way to school, before practice, or any time! Take it with you to after school pick up, and surprise your kiddo with a delish and refreshing treat. Don’t worry, they don’t need to know it’s healthy for them too 😉
This sounds so delicious! I love the combination of blueberries and banana. What a great way to start the day!
It’s really good! Thanks for the visit!
