20 Protein Shakes For the Fall Season
As my kids grow and get into more competitive sports, I realize the importance of having them eat well. As athletes and just active boys in general, it’s never been more evident to me that getting the right nutrition will not only keep them performing at their best, but also feeling great! As most sports families, we are always on the go. ALWAYS DRIVING SOMEWHERE. For that reason, Protein shakes are a staple of their diets. Not only are they easy to whip up fast, but we spend so much time in the car, the fact that they are easy to take with us is a huge plus! As most kids, they tend to get bored with the same old foods, so I’m always looking for new protein smoothie recipes to delight their picky tummies.
Kids Like Variety
A great way to keep them sipping their shakes is to provide them with a few fun and new varieties from time to time. As we transition into cooler weather these 20 protein shake recipes are perfect for fall! The change of seasons is the ideal time to try new smoothie recipes using seasonal fruits and veggies. I would be lying if I didn’t tell you that making anything with these ingredients puts me directly into full fall mode.
