New sports, new sports grip. Sound familiar? In our home, as soon as a new bat, golf club, lacrosse stick or hockey stick makes it home, the next question is “How can I to make it mine? Can we customize this?” A great way to not only customize but also improve sports equipment with grips is by updating the sports grip.
Sports Grip is a Great Gift Any Time of Year
With the holiday season coming up, I am brainstorming all sorts of fun stuff to get the kids. They always create a wish list, so the ‘bigger’ gifts are kind of easy (provided what they want is age appropriate and budget friendly), but you know what trips me up every time? Stocking stuffers!
Does this cause you as much stress as it does to me?! They’re 15 and 9, way too old for the little trinket toys I’d find at the dollar store, so what then? I’ve done the candy filled stockings, but you know, then they eat it all. I’ve tried wrapping up small amounts of cash in fun boxes. I’ve tried whiffle balls, baseballs, small foam footballs and soccer balls, all sorts of balls, and so much more. Yup.
Customize Your Kids’ Sports Equipment
My kids are sports nuts so leaning that way is easy, it’s the coming up with something new that stumps me. The boys are particular about their sports equipment, and accessories. They need to look cool, feel comfortable, and obviously function well, in that order.
So, after busting my head for weeks, I decided to stick with the sports theme get them some new accessories, which they’ll need anyway. Both will be gifted new batting gloves, new football gloves for one, cool socks for practices, and a new pair of sunglasses for those ultra bright sunny days (send me some coupons please).
Personalized Sports Grip!
In addition to all of that, I am getting each of them new bat grips. Not just any bat grips though, these Sniper Skin grips are the bombdiggady! And guess what? They can be personalized with name, number, and team logo, plus they come in cool patterns. These are new to me so I am glad I was able to check them out before I stuffed the stockings. They definitely satisfy the top three requirements; cool looking, comfort, and functionality.
If you’re not familiar with Sniper Skin Sports for a wide variety of sports.
Sniper Skin Custom Fit Grips Available for these Sports
Hockey and Lacrosse grips come in 8 colors, and 2 sizes with several patterns available. Baseball is available in black or white, and also has an array of patterns to choose from.
Take a look at it compared to regular bat grip. It’s the easiest to apply, and it looks and feels custom, especially with the name, number and logo on there!
The coolest part was the super simple application. Definitely have an adult do this, but all you need is very hot water, and a sink. Check it:
How to Easily Apply this Sports Grip
We don’t have hockey players in my home, but my friend’s son plays club hockey so her little boy gets some cool grips to try out!
My son opted for plain black, but he asked for it to be personalized. The grip is a little tacky to the touch, but overall he thinks it’s comfortable, so I’m calling this a winner!
There will still be candy in their stockings, but with all these cool sports items, not room for much! I’ll be sharing in more detail what will be going under the tree later this week, so make sure to come back and check that out.
I love discovering new and cool things, especially when they benefit my kiddos; thanks Sniper Skin Sports!
