Football season is in full swing and that can only mean one thing….TAILGATING! Confession: other than watching my son play football, I only look forward to this season for the parties! A tailgate party doesn’t have to be complicated, all you need is yummy food, your friends and family, and of course a GAME! Don’t overthink it though, if you can’t make it to the stadium, you and your favorite people can watch your team destroy its rival in the comfort of your own home. Whether you party in the parking lot, or in the backyard, remember, for the most fun, keep it simple. Good food, and a quick set-up, that is definitely the way to go!
WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD, EASY DOES IT
Even the least fanciest of gatherings calls for the best food. That’s why I called on Jersey Mike’s. They have great party options! I ordered the turkey and provolone and club sub, and they were so good! The catering box feeds 10! I also added single serve chips, and individually wrapped cookies to complete the meal. Who doesn’t love a great sandwich? No cooking, assembling, packing, or even serving. Your guests can literally just grab one out of the convenient box and enjoy! Save yourself a heap of work and head to your local Jersey Mike’s, order your sandwiches and extras to your liking and, bam! You may now check game day catering off of your list.
SUPER FUN FOOTBALL HELMETS
These helmets are the cutest! They are from FanHeads, and they are super lightweight, and come in a variety of sizes, depending on the size of your fan-head (see what I did there?!). While the helmets are totally wearable, I went with using these as tailgating table decor, because every party table needs some decorations, amiright?! They are so cute, and I can save them for future football parties. We are a Tennessee Titans family, but choose from any college or NFL team at FanHeads.
ADD MORE FOOTBALL THEMED GOODIES
Again, this does not have to be an arduous task. A plastic, reusable table cloth in a fun football pattern, along with some paper plates, napkins, and cups is all you need. These easy to throw together items will add a little pizzazz to your fiesta, and will do just as well on the back of a pick up truck, on a fold out table in your patio, or heck, they’ll even work on your coffee table in front of the flat screen!
Whichever way you choose to throw your tailgate party, make sure Jersey Mike’s and FanHeads tags along!
